MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia’s largest defense manufacturer Almaz-Antey has disputed sanctions imposed in July and September 2014 against the company by the European Union, the company’s press service said Friday.
“In order to dispute the sanctions…the [Air Defense] Concern has addressed the General Secretariat of the European Union Council [in Brussels, Belgium] with a demand of reassessing the factual circumstances, as well as providing evidence or any other information of why the EU Council made the decision to include the Concern in ‘sanctioned lists,’” the press center said.
