A suicide bomber detonated explosives at Shiite Imam Ali mosque in the village of al-Qudaih in Saudi Arabia during Friday prayers. Ten people are reported dead, dozens injured. According to media reports, 150 people were in the mosque, when the bomb detonated.

The village, where the explosion took place, is in Saudi Arabia's oil-rich Eastern Province, home to the country's Shiite minority. The region was the hotbed of anti-government protests in 2011-2012, inspired in part by the "Arab Spring".
