“Our government has restored the credibility, dignity and status of the prime minister's office,” Jaitley said.
He added that no decision had been taken by the current cabinet to benefit a particular individual or corporate houses.
“Corruption has been replaced by a transparent governance. Now the crony capitalism has been replaced by a liberal policy based governance,” the minister stressed.
Among the most important achievements of the National Democratic Alliance, Arun Jaitley also highlighted replacing the “policy paralysis” by quick decision making and successful foreign policy.
The National Democratic Alliance, a coalition of political parties led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), formed a government in 2014 following its sweeping victory at the Indian general election.
Its leader Narendra Modi was inaugurated as India’s Prime Minister on May 26, 2014.
