During the last three days, at least 335 heat wave-related deaths were registered across India, the local media said.
On Saturday, 135 people, mainly laborers, died of sunstroke in two of India’s southern states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, according to The Times of India.
The country's meteorological office has, meanwhile, said that the temperatures will keep rising in the north-west and center of the country, as well as parts of eastern India in the next couple of days.
