MOSCOW (Sputnik) – A delegation from the European Union is scheduled to arrive in Russia this week to discuss mutual disputes in regard to World Trade Organization rules, Russian Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexei Likhachev said Tuesday.
“We have a whole range of disputes in the WTO between Russia and the European Union…We have been confronted with a number of issues on customs duties and sanitation regulations. We have also filed appropriate cases in regard to the Third Energy Package and energy corrections, and these negotiations are on different stages,” Likahchev said.
He said that no conclusions have been reached on the number of mutual disputes.
“There are no final solutions yet but we are expecting a delegation of experts from the European Union to arrive this week in order to review these bilateral issues,” Likhachev said.
