The Latvian armed forces have allegedly spotted warship and submarine of the Russian Federation near its borders.
On May 27, the Latvian armed forces spotted a Russian Kilo-class submarine and GS-66 hydrographic survey ship at a distance of 5 nautical miles from the Latvian border, the Latvian army posted on its twitter.

Earlier, the National Armed Forces of Latvia said they had spotted a Russian “Ilyushin Il-72” military transport plane allegedly flying close to the country’s borders.
