"We’d like to wish luck to all gas transmission projects. They are no rivals for Gazprom because our gas networks are designed and built taking into account the volume of our gas deliveries," Miller said during his speech at the European Business Congress.
He also claimed that the demand for Russian gas is expected to rise within the next 15 years. The need for new transportation facilities for future gas deliveries is now on the rise.
"The issue is on the agenda of the current talks," Miller added.
Speaking about future projects, Miller particularly emphasized the Trans Adriatic Pipeline. Initially, it was planned to be completed in 2017, but then the deadline was moved to 2021. He voiced concerns that the project may be delayed even further.
