The Canadian designed the propeller-based hoverboard himself and successfully covered a total distance of 275,9 meters at the height of five meters above the Lake Ouareau in Quebec. He surpassed the previous record by more than five times.
"I wanted to showcase that a stable flight can be achieved on a hoverboard and a human could stand and control with their feet," Catalin told the Guinness World Records website.
