St. Petersburg’s New Diamond Technology LLC has announced a record-breaking achievement in growing laboratory-cultivated diamonds.

The International Gemological Institute (IGI) in Hong Kong has certified a record-breaking world’s largest colorless grown diamond.

New Diamond Technology (NDT) is a leading innovator in growing diamonds by High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT) technologies.

Today the company’s technology allows the growth of large rough diamonds, both for luxury and high-tech / industrial applications, including jewelry, electronics, semiconductors, sensors, aerospace, optics, medicine, alternative energy, etc.

Marc Brauner, co-CEO IGI Worldwide, explained that the latest 10 carat stone is unique in all aspects. The science and technology behind the processes synthesizing this stone are considerably more advanced than other man-made diamonds presently available on the market.

The stone’s large size, together with the very high color and breathtaking brilliance, will ensure it a prominent place in the diamond industry.

There is currently no confirmed value for the stone.
