At least 25 people have been killed, and 30 others injured after a fire ripped through a small clinic in northeastern Syria, sources said.
"Twenty-five civilians were killed and 30 were injured, mostly children, when a fuel tank exploded in the Maysalun clinic in Qamishli," state television reported.
The Kurdish city of Qamishli, which was home to 184,000 people as of 2004, is located in Syria's northeastern Hasakeh province near the Turkish border.
