A Painesville, Ohio judge may be taking the saying “An eye for an eye” a bit too seriously.

Judge Michael Cicconetti, who is known for her unorthodox moves, dished out some more eye-opening sentences recently.

Victoria Bascom, 18, was arrested for stiffing a cab driver who drove her 30 miles from Cleveland to Painesville. The judge gave her two options.

Spend 30 days in jail or take a 30-mile hike.

She chose the latter by trekking it out on the Lake County Fairgrounds during the next 48 hours.

The judge also extended her legal reasoning over to Diamond Gaston, 20, who was arrested after spray macing someone in the face at a Burger King.

The judge gave him choices as well.

Jail or suffering the same as his victim.

"Either 30 days in jail or take a shot of mace to your face or whatever, and I'm just like, okay, I’m just going to opt out for the mace," Gaston said.

Gaston walked out of that ordeal wet, but ultimately unharmed. The can was filled with water.

"I wouldn't do anything illegal,” the judge said, WHTR reports. “Will there be maybe some public feedback or whatever? I don't care. Yeah, it's a little different, it's a little unique, but maybe we just need that little bit in the judicial system," said the judge.
