A key electrical tower has been destroyed in a suspected terrorist attack by FARC rebels in Colombia, leaving around 400,000 people without power in the port city of Buenaventura, sources said.
At least two explosions took place at the electrical tower, which is located about 27 kilometers (18 miles) from Buenaventura, according to officials.
The attacks comes as the government and FARC rebels continue bilateral peace talks in a bid to stop a decades-old civil war that has already cost the South American nation about 200,000 lives and displaced six million people.
