MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to visit Italy during the Expo 2015 hosted in Milan, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday.
“Yes, President Putin plans to visit Italy. He will visit the Russian pavilion at the Expo and most likely the Italian pavilion. There will also be contacts with the Italian side,” Peskov told journalists.
The Universal Exposition opened on May 1 and will close October 31. The Kremlin gave no dates of Putin’s planned visit.
