Boko Haram Suicide Bombing Kills Dozens at Nigerian Cattle Market
A suicide bombing killed dozens in Maiduguri, the capital of Nigeria's Borno State and center of the Boko Haram insurgency.
A suicide bombing at a busy cattle market in the northeastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri killed at least 31 people, medical sources told Reuters. The attack took place at 1 pm when traders were wrapping up for the day.
"We're trying to sift human bodies from carcasses of cattle that are strewn all over the place," a vigilante battling Boko Haram told AFP.
