KIEV (Sputnik) — Kiev does not intend to withdraw its heavy artillery from Marinka and neighboring Krasnogorovka yet, according to the spokesman.
“We have to keep the whole line of contact under special control, and due to the fact that there was an active attempt to attack our positions in Marinka, our soldiers are on high alert,” Lysenko told reporters.
“Due to the very difficult situation, and shelling which continues to increase in intensity, we are not withdrawing heavy weapons in the Marinka-Krasnogorovka area yet, we will inform our foreign partners about this,” he said.
