MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Chinese State broadcaster CCTV, 46 people are still considered missing.
The earlier reports had put the number of victims at 396, while 14 others survived, including the captain.
The Eastern Star ship with 456 people on board was caught in a cyclone and sank on Monday evening. On Friday morning, the boat had been lifted to the surface.
Earlier Saturday, the rescuers have expanded the area of the search operation up to 1,300 kilometers (807 miles) downstream to Shanghai.
Over 3,400 Chinese soldiers and 1,700 paramilitary personnel have taken part in the search and rescue operation, according to Xinhua estimates.
