A pilot died in a plane crash that occurred in the Stavropol Territory in southern Russia on Sunday, media reports said.
"A single-engined Zodiac-650 airplane fell to the ground 100 meters from a forested area, killing the pilot," Kantemir Davydov, head of the press service of the regional emergencies ministry, said.
There were no passengers on board the plane, which was reportedly owned by the pilot.
