MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia has developed technology that allows equipment to be controlled by the mind, head of Russian Fund for Perspective Research Andrei Grigoriev said Monday.
"We have a project called the ‘mind-computer’ interface, which has been demonstrated numerous times. Federal agencies have already shown interest in [acquiring] the know-how. We have received requests for the intellectual property rights and the results [of the research] to be transferred to them in accordance with the law," Grigoriev told RIA Novosti.
According to Grigoriev, at the moment the fund is working on correctly transferring the project.
In January, technology for controlling robots by means of electrical brain signals was demonstrated for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
