Obama to Urge Extending Anti-Russia Sanctions at G7 Meeting
WASHINGTON, June 8 (Sputnik) — The West will maintain sectoral sanctions against Russia past July 2015, and will continue to pressure Moscow until the Minsk Agreements are fully implemented, US President Barack Obama stated after the G7 summit on Monday.

“Our European partners reaffirmed that they will maintain sanctions on Russia until the Minsk agreements are fully implemented, which means extending the EU’s existing sectoral sanctions beyond July,” Obama said.
