The vehicles, lined up in the Hungarian border town of Zahony, eastern Hungary on Tuesday afternoon, included Hummers and multi-purpose variants of the US Army's HEMTT eight-wheeled logistics trucks, some of them featuring tarps over their cargo.
Border police declined to comment on the vehicles, and Karpathir could not determine the purpose or direction of the convoy.
