Kaspersky Lab is expected to present its findings late Wednesday.
In March, the Wall Street Journal reported that the United States, a participant of the talks on Iran’s nuclear program, was aware of Israel spying during the negotiations. According to the media outlet, the spying was carried out so that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government could build its case against the deal.
The West has long accused Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons under a guise of a civilian nuclear program, and imposed several rounds of sanctions against Tehran.
After several rounds of talks, Iran and the P5+1 group of international mediators, comprising the United States, China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and Germany agreed on a framework for a deal ensuring the peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear program as well as a gradual lifting of sanctions.
Israel has repeatedly voiced concern over the nuclear deal. According to Israel, lifting the sanctions would make Iran strong and destabilize the region, and would not prevent Tehran from developing a nuclear weapon. Netanyahu has repeatedly claimed that the deal threatens the survival of Israel.
