Bolivia disagrees with G7 country immigration policy that turns undocumented migrants into non-state criminals, instead suggesting the creation of a global society that benefits everyone, President Evo Morales said in an interview with RT en Espanol released Wednesday.

Commenting on Russia's absence from the Group of 7 Summit in Bavaria earlier this week, Veteran Czech politician and political analyst Jiri Vyvadil noted that the organization has turned into a cesspool of anti-Russian belligerence, increasingly marginalized amid the rise of the BRICS, and that there was no point for Russia to participate. - Sputnik International

MOSCOW (Sputnik) The G7 reaffirmed its commitment to combating global migrant trafficking in a communique following the club's summit in Germany earlier this week.

"For example, I disagree with their policies on immigration. Together we have to create a united global society for all citizens," Morales said.

Unlike the European Union; Latin American and Caribbean countries have never suppressed Europeans visiting the area, and never used legislation to expel EU immigrants, the Bolivian leader said.

"We have never built prisons for Europeans. And these are our deepest differences," Morales added.

The Bolivian leader’s words came after a summit of G7 states, comprising Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

In recent months, the undocumented immigration and the increase of those seeking asylum to escape conflict has become a hot-button issue in the European Union following the deaths of thousands of undocumented migrants fleeing armed conflicts and desperate living conditions in northern Africa and the Middle East.

According to UN figures, a total of 60,000 migrants have tried to cross the Mediterranean in 2015, while some 1,800 have died at sea since the beginning of 2015 alone.
