"The main concern of the Council of Europe or human rights institutes in Europe should be the raising wave of Russophobia amid Polish politicians who raise their voices in support of aggressive policy towards Russia, and this is a real problem," Piskorski said.
The politician underlined that Poland's cultural background is different from that of Western Europe, and that difference should be applied to its interpretation of the rights of sexual minorities.
"You cannot measure the attitude of Polish people towards sexual minorities in the same way you measure it in the Netherlands, in Belgium or in France, which have completely different religious and cultural backgrounds," he said.
Piskorski concluded that every European country has a fundamental right to shape its values with respect to its traditions.
