Named Deep Blue, the great white shark is one of the largest ever captured on tape. The enormous creature didn't seem to scare researcher Mauricio Hoyos Padilla, who was diving near Guadalupe Island in Mexico.
Against all reason, Padilla is seen leaving the diving cage in this video as the shark swims around him. Just as he stands over the cage, with nothing between him and the terrifying creature, Padilla lifts his hand and gives the great white shark's fin a slap.
