The newly created so-called Omar Brigade radical Islamist group, espousing affiliation with the Islamic State, claimed responsibility for both rocket launches, according to local media.
The weekend was almost quiet, however a few moments ago, a rocket launched from the gaza strip hit the southern community area in israel.

The recent spate of attacks appear to be in breach of Israel's ceasefire with Gaza militant groups, including Islamic Jihad and Hamas. The truce came into effect after last summer's 50-day military campaign in the strip that had been carried out as a reaction to rocket fire from Palestinian territory.
