MOSCOW (Sputnik) — All airlines are required to conduct more intensive disinfection of plane cabins, train crews and prepare everything necessary for an efficient response to a possible case of suspected contamination, the aviation regulator said in a statement, as cited by Xinhua News Agency.
On May 29, the first case of MERS was registered in China. A 44-year-old man tested positive for the virus in southeastern China after vising MERS-infected relatives in South Korea.
On Friday, MERS death toll in South Korea reached 11 people, while a total of 126 people cases have been reported so far.
