An F-35B “Lightning” II combat aircraft practiced vertical landing aboard the ISS Wasp multipurpose assault ship.

The F-35B is one of the three versions of F35 “Lightning” II, a cutting edge fifth-generation stealth multirole US fighter. This variant of the plane is capable of short takeoff and vertical landing and is designed for the US Marine Corps.

The F-35A has a conventional takeoff and landing and is created to fit the US Air Force.
