ATHENS (Sputnik) — Greek Deputy Prime Minister Yannis Dragasakis said in a statement that he submitted a new economic reform proposal, but did not get a reply from the international lenders.
"Though the Greek delegation stayed in Brussels, there was no response from the institutions of creditors to discuss at this level and with the authorized representatives that would help solve the remaining open issues."
Nevertheless, Greece still remains open to reach a deal, the prime minister emphasized.
"The delegation of the Greek government is ready to conclude the negotiations and reach a mutually beneficial agreement."
On June 18, eurozone finance ministers are due to meet in Luxembourg. Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis is due to participate in the meeting.
Athens currently seeks to find the solution to the Greek debt crisis before the 2011 bailout program expires on June 30.
