"As Jeremy's agent I can confirm that he is on the Labour leadership ballot paper with 35 nominations. Thank you everyone," John McDonnell, a Labour parliament member for Hayes and Harlington, said in a Twitter posting.

The vote comes a month after Labour leader Ed Miliband stepped down after his party lost most seats in Scotland to the Scottish National Party (SNP) at the May 7 UK general elections. The next Labour leader will be announced at a special party conference on September 12.
Corbyn, who managed to secure the required number of nominations just two minutes before submissions closed, told BBC 2's Daily Politics on Monday he hoped that Labour "emerges stronger and more resolute in opposing the principles behind austerity and impoverishment of the poorest in Britain."
The anti-austerity politician will compete in the Labour leadership contest against Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper and Liz Kendall.
