Venezuelan army experts are set to arrive in Siberia to monitor Russian military artillery drills, according to the press service of Russia’s Central Military District Command.
“During the exercises, the servicemen are set to destroy single and group targets, simulating command headquarters of a maneuver enemy, from Uragan multiple-launch rocket systems, Shturm-S anti-tank systems and 152 mm Msta-B howitzers,” says the statement.
To reveal the positions of a maneuvering enemy, the reconnaissance officers will also use unmanned aerial vehicles: the Orlan-10 and Granat.
For the adjustment of the accuracy of the artillery fire, the officers will practice using the intelligence system Strelets with the cover up of Mi-24 helicopters.
