MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia supports the construction of the scrapped trans-Balkan Burgas–Alexandroupoli oil pipeline, and will discuss this issue Friday with the Bulgarian energy minister, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said.
"We support the construction [of the pipeline] if it's economically effective," Novak told journalists.
The minister added that he would discuss this issue with his Bulgarian counterpart Temenuzhka Petkova later in the day.
