ST. PETERSBURG (Sputnik) — The statement came in response to a question about the recent seizure of Russian assets in France and Belgium over the Yukos case.
“Sometime in the Middle Ages, a fairly common form of, say, economic activity, was robbery. Robbery on highways, in the woods. But those highwaymen were hairy men with daggers, swords, later guns and rifles. Now, these highwaymen are pretty well dressed, often well educated, but mentally, morally they are the same as robbers in the Middle Ages,” Naryshkin said in an interview with Rossiya-24 television.
