MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Flores said that preliminary evidence indicated that the attack was a clash between people linked to drug trafficking. According to media reports, the attackers started shooting after demanding money from the employees.
"So far, the preliminary investigation suggests that this is a clash between organized crime members," the prosecutor said in a news conference on Friday as quoted by CNN.
Flores added that seven people died at the scene and three at the University Hospital. The attorney general did not disclose the identity of the victims.
Authorities continue the investigation into the incident.
