People Alienated From Society Fall Victim to ISIL Propaganda
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to The Guardian’s Sunday report, the new unit will start working on July 1, and will try to take down the Islamic State accounts within two hours of detection.

"Who is it reaching out to young people, in particular, by social media, to get them to come, in the first place? It’s very difficult because of the dynamic nature of social media," Europol head Rob Wainwright told the newspaper.

The law enforcement will be working with social media companies to identify the extremist accounts in different languages, Wainwright said.

The Islamic State militant group has seized vast areas of Syria and Iraq, and its affiliates operate in North Africa, Yemen, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

ISIL extremists use social networks as a tool to recruit young teenage fighters from all over the world. Earlier this month, US Federal Bureau of Investigation identified thousands of Islamic State propagandists who disseminate information about the group on Twitter.
