The list of restricted products will remain mostly the same, except for goods needed for import substitution, such fish larvae, according to the press secretary.
This comes hours after the European Union issued a six-month extension of its anti-Russia sanctions, due to expire on Tuesday.
The European Union, the United States and their allies introduced several rounds of sanctions against Russia in 2014, accusing it of interfering in Ukrainian crisis.
Russia, denying the accusations, responded with a one-year import ban on selected food products from the countries that earlier imposed anti-Russia sanctions. The list of banned products includes meat, poultry, fish, seafood, dairy products, fruit and vegetables.
