WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — A suspected tornado touched down around 2:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. GMT) near East Grand River Avenue near highway I-96, the Ionia County Sheriff’s Department was quoted by local media as saying.

“Several people are reported trapped in a Goodwill store in Ionia County after a possible tornado touched down,” WZZM 13 ABC Grand Rapids reported.
