MOSCOW, June 24 (Sputnik) — Eurostar train services, connecting the United Kingdom and France, resumed on Wednesday, after a strike in the French port of Calais that had disrupted transport on the line, British media reported.
On Tuesday, as many as 400 workers took part in the Calais strike over proposed restructuring that would cut jobs.
All services to and from the UK port of Dover were affected by the strikes. The operations of Eurotunnel and Eurostar were also interrupted.
