As many as 47 percent of respondents in Finland believe that the so-called Grexit should happen, while support for this opinion was considerably lower in other countries, the survey revealed.
Most Danish, British and German people surveyed believe that Greece will leave the eurozone in the next six months, according to the poll.
Greece was particularly hard-hit by the aftereffects of the 2008 world economic crisis. The country has multibillion euro debts, with its largest creditors being the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Athens and its creditors have been holding talks on a new bailout deal in exchange for reforms, but the negotiations have failed to yield any significant results.
Earlier this month, the Bank of Greece said that failure to reach an agreement would force Greece to a default, and was likely to trigger the country’s exit from the eurozone and possibly the European Union.
