Record Numbers to Rally for US ‘Outsider’ Presidential Hopeful Sanders
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) Bernie Sanders, a senator from Vermont, has gathered 24 percent of voters in each state, up by 6 percent in New Hampshire and 8 percent in Iowa since May, according to the poll.

Clinton is still in the lead, gathering 50 percent of the votes in Iowa and 56 percent in New Hampshire.

The poll shows that New Hampshire favors Clinton for her foreign-policy experience and influence in Washington but prefers Sander’s genuineness and policies on tackling Wall Street.

In April 2015, Hillary Clinton announced the launch of her presidential campaign for the 2016 Democratic nomination.

Senator Bernie Sanders announced his candidacy in late May, 2015.

Both contenders are competing with former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.
