MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The death toll is likely to rise, the minister said as cited by the BBC.
Ellwood added that the Sousse "savage" massacre was "the most significant terrorist attack on the British people" since the July 7, 2005 suicide bombings in London, when 52 people had been killed.
On Friday, 40 people were killed and 40 more wounded in Tunisia’s resort town of Sousse after a gunman disguised as a tourist had opened fire on a beach in front of hotels.
The gunman later identified as Seifeddine Rezgui was shot dead by police at the site.
