VIENNA (Sputnik), Daria Chernyshova, Anastasia Levchenko — Currently, the negotiators aim to translate Lausanne framework agreements into the text of a final deal, the German top diplomat said.
"We are now on the final lap toward the mountain top, and if there is no bad weather we will find a solution to this decades-old conflict," Steinmeier said as he was leaving Vienna.
Iran appears to comply with all the parameters that were agreed on during the April meeting between the P5+1 and Tehran, Steinmeier said.
"Last week in Luxembourg we had a chance to meet with the head of the Iranian delegation. And this issue was raised as well. At least, we received an impression that Iran sticks to Lausanne parameters and we will insist on Iran holding firm to them."
In April, Iran and the P5+1 group of countries, comprising of the United States, Russia, China, France and the United Kingdom plus Germany, worked out a political framework on the Iranian nuclear program in the Swiss city of Lausanne.
Iran and the six world powers have to thrash out a final deal until Tuesday.
