Greek Parliament Authorizes Referendum on Bailout Program

ATHENS (Sputnik) — Tsipras said that such a measure was necessary to ensure a peaceful referendum on July 5.

"Today I have sent another request to the heads of the ECB and the IMF to extend the program, which expires on June 30," Tsipras said in a televised address.
