The South Shall Collide, Again [STRONG LANGUAGE]

As public debate about the ever-divisive Confederate flag continues, video from a small-town parade in Georgia proves that not only does the American South have a hard time letting go of ancient, offensive imagery, but it’s not too great at avoiding three-car pile-ups, either.

Talk of removing the Confederate flag from the grounds of US government buildings has angered many old-school Southerners. While a significant portion of the population sees the flag as an emblem of American racism, some insist it represents Southern heritage.

And everyone knows the best way to honor heritage is to down a couple of Miller Lites, organize a pickup truck possy, and parade past a couple of gas stations in rural Georgia.

If the South plans to rise again, effective brake pads might be the first tactical purchase.
