WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Iran and the P5+1 group of world powers, including Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany, extended the joint plan of action until July 7 to “allow more time for negotiations" on nuclear talks, ABC News reported quoting the US State Department.
In April 2015, Iran and the P5+1 group of countries, agreed on a framework deal to permit Tehran a peaceful nuclear program and gradually remove economic sanctions.
The deadline for reaching a comprehensive agreement on Iran’s nuclear program was set for June 30.
