A letter was submitted to the European Commission, the ECB and the IMF late on Tuesday and obtained by the FT on Wednesday.
According to Greek Channel SKAI, German finance minister Schaeuble has refused the proposal. Germany is likely to wait for the upcoming referendum outcome and continue putting pressure on Tsipras.

A source in the Greek government told Sputnik that Tsipras would accept all of the terms with a few exceptions: a special 30 percent discount for the Greek islands has to remain untouched. The raising of retirement rate to 67 years has to begin in 2022, not right away. Additional payments to the indigent retirees need to be prolonged and will stop in 2019, not earlier.
Greece's bailout deal with its international creditors also expired on Tuesday. The talks between the parties on extending the deal in exchange for austerity reforms have failed to yield results.
On Saturday, Athens announced a July 5 referendum to ask voters to decide whether to accept a new bailout deal offered by the country's international creditors in exchange for unpopular austerity measures.
