MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Gazprom will not introduce changes to the pricing mechanism for Russian gas supplies to Ukraine until the end of 2019, and no additional agreements on the supply terms are required, the company's head Alexey Miller said Wednesday.
"All the conditions for gas supplies to Ukraine in July are outlined in the current contract from 2009 and its supplements, and require no additional agreements with anyone else. The price of gas to Ukraine is determined through a formula set out in the contract," Miller said.
"Gazprom has not and will not make any changes to the pricing mechanism for gas supplies to Ukraine until the end of 2019," he added, noting, however, that the size of the customs tariff is determined on a quarterly basis by the Russian government.
