Kalashnikov Goes Swimming: Meet These Three Combat Boats
11:44 GMT 05.07.2015 (Updated: 13:39 GMT 06.08.2022) What do most people associate the word “Kalashnikov” with? A series of assault rifles, of course. Now, however, Kalashnikov Concern has something completely different on offer.
The Kalashnikov BK-10 assault landing boat, BK-9 assault support boat and BK-16 multipurpose amphibious boat can carry drones and various military weapons and equipment.
The BK-9 is reinforced with armor plates to keep personnel better protected.
The BK-16 can be used by the military as well as medics, rescuers and firefighters. It is armed with four 7.62mm machine guns and a grenade launcher. It can carry up to four naval mines and “Kornet” guided missile systems.
