MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The promising research results of Russia's vaccine against Ebola will be released in August, Russian Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova said Tuesday.
"We have finished research on primates, the last phase of research. We'll obtain research results in August," Skvortsova told journalists after the second consultation of the healthcare ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.
The minister added that the intermediate results have been very encouraging and there was definitive hope for an effective vaccine strain.
