MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Boudou, Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner succeeded in pinpointing social issues, and the diversity of parties that form the country's ruling bloc will make the bloc strong for the upcoming general elections.
"The principle of this government is equality, and that equality is manifested in a variety of specific issues, it is not an abstract equality," Boudou said at dinner with diplomats and reporters in Moscow.
The general elections in the country are expected to take place on October 25 of this year.
The Argentinian government will maintain the current economic and social model following the upcoming general elections, Boudou said.
"We are going to follow the economic and social model [after the October 25 general elections], which was being developed during the year, surely, with the characteristics of a new stage, but it will be the same model."
According to Boudou, the current economic model is based on the principle of creating jobs and encouraging external capital inflow. He stressed that Argentina has many investment opportunities with a high potential, citing its underdeveloped railway network as an example of a privatization opportunity.
Argentina's GDP, according to the World Bank Group, has increased six times between 2003 and 2014.
