WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — In early June 2015, OPM revealed that its network had been hacked over a period of four months, and the security breach compromised the personal data of virtually all current and most former US federal government employees.
“I’m sure the adversary has my [form] SF-86 now, my SF-86 lists every place I’ve ever lived since I was 18, every foreign travel I’ve ever taken, all of my family, their addresses, so it’s not just my identity that is affected.”
Comey said the amount of personal and sensitive information affected extends beyond the millions of federal employees and those who have applied for employment.
The SF-86 form can be more than 100-pages long and includes a range of detailed information including all residences, foreign contacts, travel, relationship status, information on relatives, drug and alcohol history and other personal information.
